Quiet Sunday

While visiting with church friends mom got a picture of us while dad was on the phone. Silly parents.

It's been really quiet and relaxing this Sunday morning. Ellie spoke more for us today. We are doing stickers every time she says a word. We needed something to encourage the speaking because she won't speak for the doctors or nurses, little stinker. This is the Ellie we know. She's back, sorta. She's asking for cartoons and movies, popcicles and to go potty. She's doing well. Later Nate comes and that'll liven' things up. We have missed him tons and are excited to see him. We thought we'd be moving to Peds floor today but Dr. Menezes take the conservative road and wants to keep her here for now. Not sure when we'll be moving. Will keep yall updated on that. TTFN ta ta for now!

  1. I can see the smile coming back. God bless you guys. You have a strong young lady there, and God is making her stronger. Just want you guys to know that we are still in prayer for her and all of you. God has her in his hands, and she is getting better and better. What would you guys like us to continue to pray for? Please let us know and I will pass it on to our prayer chain. Please let Ellie know that I and all of us are thinking of her. Stay strong mom and dad, she is coming through this. I always hear that the trial you win is the one you go through not one you stay in the middle of. Keep the faith and know that He is God.

  2. There is that smile of hers. I am glad to hear that things are going well. You have a very strong young lady there. We have continued to pray for her in our church. You guys are very strong for her. Please let her know that I am thinking of her. Is there anything you would want us to put on our prayer list? Please let me know and I will make sure they get the information. Always know that God is with you in all of this. He will not leave you or forsake you. God has Ellie in His hands. He is taking care of her and helping her get stronger and stronger. God Bless you mom and dad. Keep the faith.
