Ellie gets lots of attention

Wednesday evening Ellie was awake for a long time so she picked out Kung Fu Panda to watch. Thank goodness for Grandma Julie's computer that saved the day when we couldn't get the portable DVD player to work. During the movie Ellie smiled at funny parts.

Ellie had some visitors Thursday, aunt Emily, Titi Eleanor, Meghan, Tori, Alta, Mrs. Buehler, Mrs. Hughes, Ms. Linder all teachers from Preschool, and in this picture Molly and Teri. It was a busy morning but Ellie slept through most of it.

Daddy reads Cinderella to Ellie in between visitors Thursday morning. Yesterday mommy read Anastasia and Nina Nina Star Ballerina to Ellie when she was wide awake.

Ellie gets the IV out of her left foot Thursday. Her foot was swollen more than the other so they took it out. Nurse Amanda does a wonderful job taking care of Ellie. Frankly all the nurses and doctors do well taking care of her.

Wednesday late afternoon physical therapy stopped by to do exercises with Ellie. They do leg lifts, arm lifts and covers eyes to see if she's seeing double or single. We were worried she was seeing double there for a while. This is still somewhat in question because her right eye isn't moving all ranges like her left can. Ellie shakes when she moves her arms and legs but she did her exercises well. We will continue these three times a day. Two with mom and dad and one with the therapist.
