I got to go into the operating room when they took Ellie back so I had to get dressed for that. Ellie is starting to relax some and look worried. The whole checking in and working up to surgery is a long process so she started to get worried.

Ellie got last chance pictures with mom and dad while waiting in another room for surgery. This is where the anesthesiologist came to visit, explain things and give her meds to start calming her down.
After in her scrubs for surgery she was asked to color a picture to add to the wall of all the pictures kids color before they go into surgery. A nurse named Bruce collects them and posts them on a wall. He has over 300 collected so far. He also has horses and showed us pictures of his horses once he heard Ellie likes horses. You can see on her face some initials written with marker. Someone came by to do that to make sure we knew what side they were doing surgery on.
