Ellie shows us her joy by smiling now! She has had many things to smile about these past few days. The tube getting out was our big joy! These pictures are just a few of the things that made Ellie smile.
We have had many visitors. Ellie tends to perk up with the children that visit. Dasha climbed into bed to play with Ellie for a while. They played littlest pet shop together, Dasha read a book to Ellie and showed her the backpack full of toys. The little treasures are what girls love.
On their way to vacation Emily, Jesse, Ethan and Haley stopped by to see us. Ellie has opened many presents and decided she wanted to try coloring. Cousin Ethan sat up in bed with her to color in the Hello Kitty coloring book. Along with aunt Emily and family visiting today, aunts Sheri and Debbie, uncle Erik and grandma Julie also came to visit.
This is one of the many gifts Ellie opened. She was definately strong enough to pull gifts out of bags. She kept smilin' and kept saying yes to opening more and more gifts. We have lots of fun activities to entertain her now that she is awake most of the day. This is the fun stuff that will encourage her getting stronger. She'll be working her muscles while playing!
Ellie likes looking at pictures her friends have send her, like this one from friend Emma. Ellie has also received cards from kids she doesn't even know. The graduation puppy from friend Ahmad hangs out in bed with her. We can't name all the wonderful gifts but thank you all. We have truely been blessed. Blessed with all the company, food, gifts and prayers. This has made it easy for us to stay down here and give Ellie all the attention she needs. Everyone of you has been so supportive and compassionate. We can't thank you enough.
