Ellie had a good night of healing. Her lab results are getting better. She has been responding since they found a happy middle ground where she's not in pain and where she can respond how they want her to. She opens her eyes and squeezes our hands. That's encouraging. When Ryan asked her if she was doing OK she nodded her head yes! So that was comforting. We tell her about all the people praying and thinking of her.
During rounds this morning they said we are still waiting for full pathology results, but we would be meeting with oncology soon and a social worker from oncology would get us signed up for his program also. Since we don't have results we aren't totally sure how much we will be involved with oncology, but we are getting prepared. Ellie is off for a CT scan to monitor brain swelling. A nurse french braided her hair last night so she was beautiful for us today.

I love how the nurse took the time to braid Ellie's hair, it's the little things that matter the most.
